Need some inspiration for Easter in your piano studio? I’ve got some Easter lesson ideas to help make things a little extra festive!
1. Easter Egg Hunt
Every year I enjoy hiding plastic eggs around the studio for my students to find. Over the years I’ve tried this different ways …
One option could be to hide one egg per student, with the students name labelled. Great option for minimal set-up.Another way you could be to set up the hunt for each lesson while students close their eyes.I like filling the plastic eggs with sticky notes or little slips of paper that give an instruction like “play your favorite piece” or “say the music alphabet backwards”. Really any skill or concept you want them to work on!
At the end, students get an easter treat. But you could totally fill the eggs with treats, prizes, or whatever else you like!
This is one of those activities that students LOVE no matter how old they get. So fun!
2. Boom Card Scavenger HuntI

In the game, students search & find hidden notes and rests while they read riddles that follow the Easter bunny’s clues.
